On Dec. 9, 2015, I filed a $10,000 lawsuit in Montgomery County against the owner of Dirtwirx, Bobby Cooke, in an effort to collect money that was given for services not provided in 2013. We paid Bobby Cooke approx. $27,000 to start commercial construction under his business 1825 Remodeling (which is no longer in business) and he used my deposit/injection money of $12,000 to buy his bobcat to start his land clearing business. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY or OWNER. If you give him a deposit, you will likely never see the money again. Don't be mislead by his charm and smile. He talked me us up about his desire to get in and do a great job for us all the way up til the day we paid him a down payment of $12,000. After that, he did not deliver as promised and stretched us out according to his plans. After we get a judgement against him in court, I'll chime back in on google each month until he pays us back. Does anyone have a solid home or business address on Bobby so I can get him served? All of his business addresses that are listed are bunk and invalid...

Very dissatisfied with this company! We arranged for a quote to have our house pad, driveway and culvert installed. Accepted the $11,000 + quote assuming we would get what we paid for. Everything was going well, there was some concerns regarding the stabilized sand sitting for days, which it's our understanding it's supposed to be used within hours. Also concerned about pad being level. Concrete contractor placed forms for the slab and stated the pad was NOT level. It would require an additional 2-3 loads of select fill ($160 per truck load), which he said he would spread for us. Contacted Houston with DirtWirx and was assured that we would be taken care of. Started calling and texting Houston wanting to arrange for delivery. He wouldn't answer either calls or texts. Contacted Bobby Cooke (owner) who after talking to him, he finally said he would take care of it and would call back in an hour and a half. That was 2 days ago. So we're out more money because we have to have a level pad!!! Had to purchase 4 truck loads to level our pad.

I can say that Dirtwirx is one of the most reliable and trustworthy land clearing service providers in Houston. They plan well for projects and provide quick turnaround of results. Project cost is very reasonable, considering the quality of service and equipment. Great work Dirtwirx! I highly recommend your services!
